This grille insert gives you a high outbreak protection due to the lock nut that connects the insert firmly to the lid and the wire mesh used.
This insert requires a hole with a diameter of 50mm-55mm on a flat surface to be inserted. Thanks to the screw connection, it can flexibly adapt to the material thickness, but requires a minimum of 1mm and a maximum dimension of 5mm material thickness.
Replacement of the wire mesh
If the wire mesh is damaged or if you want to use a completely different one, this is no problem at all. Our wire mesh is not glued, but simply clamped from the inside with a screw ring. Please note only that this ring is difficult to solve by hand. In this case, we recommend our specially developed key. With this you can unscrew the lock nut, put the new wire mesh back in and then tighten the nut again. Please note when cutting the gauze that it is not too small and therefore no vacant positions can arise during use.
